90 days in europe #06: Shower, Stove, Sink and Meal

Fala caras, eu voltei mais cedo que antes, né?

Hoje eu gostaria de falar sobre algumas coisas no lar. Diferentes objetos que eu nunca tinha visto antes. Eles são: chuveiro que usa um sistema de caldeira, fogão elétrico, pia que também usa caldeira (como o chuveiro) e a primeira comida que eu fiz na Irlanda.


Eu gastei um pouco de tempo tentando entender como eu conseguiria ligar o fogão. Depois um cara gringo veio até a cozinha, eu queria perguntar a ele, mas tive vergonha, rs. Então, conheci alguns brasileiros que estavam vivendo na casa também e eles me ajudaram a resolver meu problema. Os fogões e fornos lá funcionam com eletricidade, e no Brasil como nós sabemos, funcionam com gás. Ah, quase me esqueço, não há chama nesse tipo de equipamento, somente uma superfície quente.

Já os chuveiros funcionam como em alguns hotéis no Brasil, há uma torneira quente e outra fria. É só temperar a água.

As pias de cozinha e de banheiro também funcionam como o chuveiro, duas torneiras e duas temperaturas.

Agora, falando da refeição, eu comprei cenouras e macarrão instantâneo, depois juntei tudo numa panela com água fervendo e pronto, tinha meu primeiro rango digno de um chef francês.

Hi mates, I'm back, sooner then before, don't I?

Today I would like to talk about some stuff at home. Diferentes objects I had never seen before, they are: shower that use a boiler, electric stove, sink that use boiler (as the shower). And my first cooking in ireland.

I spent a little bit of my time trying understand how to turn on the stove. Then a foreign guy went kitchen and I would like to ask him, but I couldn't, I was with shame. So I met some brazilians living there as well and I solved my problem. The stoves and ovens there work with electricity, and in Brazil, as we know, they work with gas. Oh, I almost forget, there is no flame, just a hot surface.

Here I solved put a photo of the shower. It is not working on the pic, but I think can be seen even though. It is similar some hotels here in Brazil when we have a hot faucet and a cold faucet and, we need turn on both in the even time. But it´s a still a little bit different of the stuff here.

About the sink is the same. Hot faucet, cold faucet, kind easy to use it. Can you see the pic?

Now, I would like to talk about the best thing in that day. I made my first meal at home. It was not a big deal, was more for a student one. I just bought carrots and noodles. Then, I turned on the stove, I boiled some water and put all of those inside of the pan.

So at end, I joint my well done cooking in a plate and, I know a french chef could be proud of me, for sure.
